Leo the Lion Cub

I felt more confident with my skills after finishing my two projects and being able to make little adjustments when I see fit. So, for my third try, I decided to follow the book completely i.e. use yarn of similar thickness. I chose the lion cub pattern as it was almost my friend’s birthday and I wanted to give the finished product to her, if it turns out well (she’s a Leo). I started off with the mane ‘cos that looked like the more complicated bit at the time.

Look how cute that thing looked!! I added a little tail detail at the back, but other than that, the pattern is all Ana Paula Rimoli’s. It was so adorable that I had second thoughts about giving it away… But, my mind was set so I gave it to my friend as a present. Later, I made one (and lots more) for myself though.

Love it? Hate it? Let me know!
